Tracer: Find Out Who Copied Your Content
Tracer tracks user actions on your website including copy/paste and highlight to help you learn what content your users find most engaging. Tracer drives traffic back to your site using your copied content with no extra effort or cost.
How does it work?
Tracer inserts a java script tag into the html code of your website to non-invasively track users interactions with your website content. The only change the user sees is when copied content is pasted into an email, blog or website, we automatically add a link back to the originating site at the end of the content. When a user clicks on that link, they are returned to your site and the highlighted content.
What would I use Tracer for?
Tracer lets you monitor user engagement, drive traffic to your site and take credit for content that is copied and pasted onto other sites. That’s not all! Tracer helps you:
- Determine the value of ad space on your site.
- Create more targeted content to appeals to readers.
- Learn which author’s content is most engaging to online readers.
- Refine your ad word search terms.
- Build revenue-generating relationships with affiliates.
How do I get Tracer on my site?
It’s easy! After you sign up for an account, you will receive an email with a script tag specific to your site. Add the script to your webpage html code and you are set. Next, visit www.tynt.com/tracer to see your site-specific Tracer Dashboard and start watching what is being copied from your site and get actionable insight into what content your users find most engaging.
